After the provision of the funeral service by the company, if there is surplus capital, the Policyholder or the heirs of the deceased Insured Party may request the surplus.
The insurance covers each Insured Party until their death, therefore, the redemption of the single premium paid is not contemplated. Only the legal right of withdrawal is contemplated within the first 30 days after the signing of the agreement and when duly communicated to the company provided that there has been no request for provision.
At the time of the death of an Insured party, a burial place different from that of the municipality of residence indicated in the policy can be chosen, always bearing in mind that the maximum limit for the funeral service coverage will be the capital established in the policy. Therefore, if any insured capital is left over, it will be returned to the Policyholder or, failing that, to the heirs of the deceased Insured Party. In the event that the insured capital is not sufficient, the difference will be borne by the foregoing.
As long as you are a resident in Spain, i.e., you have a NIE (foreigner’s ID card), you can take out the policy taking into account that the scope of coverage is the national territory, except for the International Transfer coverage, which will be provided worldwide.
