WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS FOR CUSTOMERS?

Customers can make payments in any country in the SEPA Zone through an account, a card or payment instruments with the same characteristics. the maximum payment term for transfers is 1 business day following the date of issue by the ordering entity.

HOW IS A SEPA ACCOUNT IDENTIFIED?

The account ID is no longer the CAN (Customer Account Number); in SEPA it is the IBAN (International Bank Account Number), made up of the CAN, which is preceded by the country code and a control digit. You can calculate your IBAN here.
