The coverage¹ of the Accident Insurance is designed to satisfy different needs, find out more:

Accidental death. Insured capital €60,000 or €120,000.

Accidental Permanent Absolute Disability Insured capital €60,000 or €120,000. If you receive compensation from the Policy for a Permanent Partial Disability and then an accidental Permanent Absolute Disability is recognised, you will be compensated only for the difference until you reach the capital insured.

Accidental Permanent Partial Disability Compensation according to valuation table. Maximum capital €60,000 or €120,000. If you receive compensation from the Policy for a Permanent Partial Disability and then an accidental Permanent Absolute Disability or Severe Disability is recognised, you will be compensated:

For Permanent Absolute Disability only for the difference until reaching the capital insured.
In case of Severe Disability, the difference until reaching the insured capital of the Permanent Absolute Disability coverage in addition to the capital for Severe Disability. This includes up to €750 or €1,500 for orthopaedic prostheses.

Severe Disability due to accident. Additional capital to the Absolute Permanent Disability coverage of €25.000 or €50,000. If you receive compensation from the Policy for a Permanent Partial Disability and then an accidental Severe Disability is recognised, you will be compensated until you reach the capital insured for the Permanent Absolute Disability coverage as well as the capital for Severe Disability.

What do you need to do to take out these policies?

Policy term	Annual renewable, until the Insured turns 74, in the case of Accidental Death, and 66 in the case of Permanent Absolute Disability, Permanent Partial, Disability, Severe Disability and Home Help.
Payment method	Annual or half-yearly.

Most common questions about these insurance policies

The insurance covers accidents both in Spain and abroad.

In the case of a compensation payment, the scale refers to the table indicating to the financial amount corresponding to each medical diagnosis. Details of the coverage will be provided along with your policy documents.

It covers those accidents that are not included in the policy's list of exclusions (extreme sports, etc.).

The beneficiaries will receive a payout in the event of death. In the event of absolute permanent disability, partial permanent disability or major disability, the beneficiary will be the insured.

The premium does not vary with age, or if a claim has been reported that has led to an indemnity.

It is when the direct cause of death of the insured is an accident and death occurs within 18 months of the accident.

It is the irreversible physical and/or mental situation, derived from an accident, which disables the insured for any profession or trade.

Irreversible injury, included as a diagnosis in the policy assessment table, not declared as a permanent absolute disability or severe disability, and that causes the insured the functional or anatomical loss of limbs or organs of his/her body as a result of an accident, within the 18 months following said accident. The medical certificate stating the origin, cause and development of the disease must be presented.

It refers to a situation of permanent disability that results in anatomical or functional losses and also requires assistance from another person to carry out the most basic daily activities, such as dressing, moving around, eating or similar tasks, caused by an accident. It must be officially recognised by Social Security or another equivalent body.
