It is the period of time, counted from the entry into force of the policy, during which the Insured is not entitled to the benefits derived from the insurance for certain specialities.

In addition to the insurance premium, the Policyholder must pay the copayment amounts detailed in the policy. These amounts are applicable for each visit, consultation, test or intervention carried out on the Insured as a consequence of the use of the coverages included in this Policy.

You will have a co-payment on Santander Aegon Basic Health and Senior Health products. And you can have a co-payment in the Santander Aegon Salud Cuadro Médico product as there is the possibility of taking out this insurance with or without co-payment. In Santander Aegon Health Reimbursement insurance, you will not have to pay any type of co-payment for the use of services (both for individuals and self-employed workers).

From the moment it is taken out, except for those benefits that have a grace period, for which it will be necessary to wait until the end of the grace period.

With Santander Aegon Salud you will be able to choose from a wide national medical team of more than 50,000 professionals and 1,000 healthcare centres. 

Optionally, Santander Aegon Salud offers the possibility of contracting dental coverage for just €5 more per month per insured party.

Dental coverage gives access to more than 27,000 professionals, more than 2,300 dental clinics and more than 58 free procedures.

Yes, on a monthly basis only by digital contracting; on a quarterly basis and every six months through all channels.

Yes, with Santander Aegon Salud you have access to healthcare in Spain.

Abroad, you have Travel Assistance coverage that covers up to a limit of €30,000 per insurance annuity and includes loss of suitcase and flight.

If you take out the Santander Aegon Health Reimbursement product, you will be able to request reimbursement in the case of international healthcare (both for individuals and the self-employed). And you will be refunded 80% with a maximum of €150,000 per year and insured.

In the direct estimate method, the payment of health insurance premiums is a deductible expense in the part corresponding to the policyholder's coverage and that of his spouse and children under the age of 25 who live with him/her, up to a limit of €500 per person.

If you have contracted Santander Aegon Salud Cuadro Médico or Santander Aegon Salud Reembolso, you can receive a discount for the number of insured persons.
