Banc Santander Digital banking
How do I recover my password?
If you don't remember your password for Banco Santander's digital channels or if it's blocked, you can get a new one via the bank's app. Go to "Recover Password" in the top right-hand corner of the app's home screen. Select your ID type (NIF, CIF, NIE or passport), enter your details and validate the action by swiping the "Swipe to Validate" bar. You will then receive a security code on your phone to let you choose a new log-in password.
You can also recover your password via Online Banking, whether you have an Individual or Corporate account, by clicking “Customer Log-in”/“Problems With Your Password?" or "Forgotten Your Password?" respectively.
In Corporate Online Banking, you will have to enter your username and the last four digits of the associated telephone number. You will then receive an SMS with the new password, which will have to be changed when you log in the first time for greater security. If you do not have an associated mobile number or if you have changed number, please visit your branch to get this information updated.
Remember that your password comprises eight numeric digits and you can use it to check your accounts. If you would like to perform transactions on the digital channels, you need to sign a multichannel contract. You can do that:
- Via the Santander app (on the home screen, select "Menu" and "Get Passwords").
- Via the Santander website ("Customer Log-in"/”Register for Online Banking").
- At any of our branches (locate your closest branch in the branch search).
