How do I change my personal data?

If you have moved house, changed telephone number or email, or if there has been any other change in your personal data or you have noticed that some of your data is incorrect, you can update the information via Banco Santander's contact channels.

You can change or add the email address or mobile number where you get notifications regarding your bank accounts, cards or loans via the Santander app. Log in to your Accounts Overview and click your name in the top menu in "Personal Area". Change or add the new email or mobile number and confirm the action with your electronic signature.

You can also make these changes by logging in to Santander's Online Banking with your password. At the top of the screen, select "Personal Area”, and go to “Contact Details” and make the required changes. You must complete the action with your electronic signature.

If you would like to change the mobile number where you receive SMS codes for completing transactions, you will have to visit your Santander branch.

If you need to change the mobile number where you receive codes to verify online card purchases (secure e-commerce system), you can do so via Online Banking. In your Accounts Overview, select the pertinent card and click "Secure E-Commerce" in the "Transactions and Queries" menu on the right. You must have an electronic signature to complete the action.

If you are a company and you need to change users' data, log in to Corporate Online Banking and select “Settings”/“User Management”/“Registration, Queries, Changes and Cancellation”. Make the appropriate changes and complete the action with your electronic signature.

If you need to make any other change to your personal data or your company data, please visit a Banco Santander branch.

How do I change personal data via the app?
