Discover the range of the EIB line of financing for the agricultural sector. The agreement signed between Banco Santander and the European Investment Bank (EIB) Agro line facilitates access to financing under optimal conditions for this sector.

EIB Agro line financing options

AGRO LIQUIDITY LOANS:

  • The purpose is to provide liquidity to the operation.
  • Term: 2 or 3 years, with the possibility of a one-year grace period.

INVESTMENT LOANS:

  • The purpose is the financing of investments and the conditioning and acquisition of productive assets, both new or second-hand.
  • Term: 2 or 10 years, with the possibility of a one-year grace period. For operations of longer than 6 years, there is the possibility of a two-year grace period.

These lines of financing depend on the funds available from the EIB, require prior approval by the Bank and are not loans to finance the purchase of arable land.
