Bringing a +1? Earn up to €800¹

If you’re already a Banco Santander customer, you can invite your friends to become customers by sharing your personal referral code. If your friend meets the terms of the promotion, you’ll receive €80 gross (€64.80 net) once they become a customer. You can earn rewards for up to 10 successful referrals, giving you a maximum of €800 gross.

Simply sign up for the promotion to receive your personal referral code. You can then share it with friends and family who are not yet Banco Santander customers.

Your personal referral code will be generated upon signing up for the promotion. Save it and then share it with anyone you’d like to invite to become a Banco Santander customer.

If you need to view it again, simply return to the page where you originally signed up for the promotion. If you then try to sign up again, you’ll simply be shown the referral code previously assigned to you. If you have an email address on record and have opted in to receive marketing communications, you’ll also receive an email containing your referral code. Alternatively, you can request it from your bank manager.

Feel free to send your code to as many friends and family members as you like. However, it can only be used 10 times. In other words, it will no longer be valid once 10 friends have used it to join the promotion.

Once the Bank has confirmed, in due course, that you meet the requirements of the promotion and that your friend has also met the relevant conditions, you'll receive €80 for each friend who became a customer using your code. 

The reward will be paid into the account you nominated when you signed up for the promotion.  

Your friend must:

• Become a Banco Santander customer.
• Open a Santander Account, Santander Online Account, Professional Groups Account or Business Account.
• Enter your referral code correctly during the account opening process.
• Sign up for the “Santander Más” promotion, allowing them to earn up to €840 over two years, provided they meet the applicable conditions.
• Meet the conditions of the “Santander Más” promotion.

The reward will only be paid once all of these requirements have been met.

Your friend must enter the referral code during the account opening process.

If they fail to enter it at that time, the referral cannot be linked to you later and no reward will be paid.

Once Banco Santander has verified that your friend has met all the requirements of the promotion, the reward will be paid into the account you specified when you signed up for the promotion.

Payment will be made during the last week of the relevant month.

Opening the account is just one of the requirements.

In addition, your friend must have:

• Entered your referral code.
• Signed up for the “Santander Más” promotion.
• Met all the conditions of that promotion.

The reward will only be paid once all these requirements have been verified.

If your friend fails to meet the conditions of both this promotion and the “Santander Más” promotion, no reward will be paid for that referral.

The reward will only be paid to the person whose referral code the friend entered when opening their account.

You can sign up for the promotion and obtain your referral code from 30 July 2026 to 22 December 2026, inclusive.

Your friend has until 22 January 2027 to open a Santander Account, Santander Online Account, Professional Groups Account or Business Account and enter your referral code during the account opening process.

Accounts opened outside this period will not qualify for the reward.
