What your friends have to do
For you to receive your reward, your friends will need to:

A non-interest-bearing current account with no fees payable (0% nominal interest rate, 0% AER%), and no conditions, which can be opened in just a few minutes from anywhere.

- By paying in their salary and meeting the promotion’s terms and conditions, they can earn up to €8402 over two years, with no minimum term or early-exit penalty.
Make sure your friends use your code and complete the required steps
Remember: for you to receive your reward, your friends must meet the conditions of the promotion they sign up for and use your referral code when becoming a customer.
FAQs
Answer your questions about the Bring a Friend to Santander promotion
Feel free to send your code to as many friends and family members as you like. However, it can only be used 10 times. In other words, it will no longer be valid once 10 friends have used it to join the promotion.
Once the Bank has confirmed, in due course, that you meet the requirements of the promotion and that your friend has also met the relevant conditions, you'll receive €80 for each friend who became a customer using your code.
The reward will be paid into the account you nominated when you signed up for the promotion.

Before opening the account, you should carefully read the following documents:

1. €80 gross (€64.80 net) for each new customer referred, up to a maximum of 10 new customers (maximum reward: €800 gross/€648 net). Participants must sign up for the promotion either in branch or online. A confirmation document will then be sent to their Contracts Inbox, where it can be viewed at any time. The promotion is open only to individuals (natural persons) who are resident in Spain for tax purposes. Maximum of 10 code redemptions. Promotion valid until 22 December 2026. 2. Promotion valid until 30 October 2026 for customers aged 18 or over who are resident in Spain and who pay in qualifying income (salary or pension of at least €800 per month, or self-employed social security contributions) that is not already paid into the Bank.
Base incentive for paying in eligible income:
€10/month for income between €800 and €1,499.
€15/month for income of €1,500 or more.
Additional monthly incentives:
For monthly income of between €800 and €1,499: at least three (3) Bizum transfers or one (1) credit card transaction: €10; at least two (2) direct debits: €10. Maximum total monthly incentive: up to €30/month.
For monthly income of €1,500 or more: at least three (3) Bizum transfers or one (1) credit card transaction: €10; at least two (2) direct debits: €10. Maximum total monthly incentive: up to €35/month.
Monthly bonus variable and conditional on meeting the requirements in each period; bonus non-cumulative and non-retroactive, running for a maximum of 24 months. No tie-ins.
