Car maintenance, when needed, is carried out at the maker's official garages or garages approved by Santander Renting, in accordance with the customer's contract and the schedule stipulated by the manufacturer.

The following vehicles are not available with Santander Renting: cars for rent without driver, driving school vehicles, ambulances, taxis, hazardous goods and parallel import transport vehicles. The payments are fixed monthly, without variations throughout the contract. The lessee can choose the term of the lease and the mileage per year at the time of signing the contract, these parameters are part of the calculation that is carried out to determine the monthly sum to be paid.
The terms range from a minimum of 12 to a maximum 60 months. While, in terms of mileage, the minimum is 10,000 km and a maximum of 200,000 km cannot be exceeded during the entire term of the renting.
When signing the contract, the client can choose the term of the lease and the kilometres to be covered per year, from among the available lengths and distances.

When the contract ends, once the car has been returned, a kilometres adjustment will be made comparing the real distance travelled and that in the contract. The difference will be charged or paid to the client, as per the price indicated in the contract for each adjustment kilometre.
Yes, it is possible to extend the initially contracted mileage to a maximum of 200,000 km for the entire term of the contract, and it is also possible to reduce it to a minimum of 10,000 km per year if less km are being used than those intended when the contract was formalised.

Yes, at the end of the Renting contract you can request an extension of the term of the contract for 12 month periods provided that: the maximum mileage allowed (200,000 km) is not exceeded, the total term does not exceed five years and that the Bank approves the operation, in which case the new instalment for the extended period would be calculated.
The car is property of Banco Santander, S.A., which rents it to the client for the term established in the contract. It is registered in the name of the Bank.
The car will be delivered to an official dealer of the chosen brand, preferably the one closest to the customer's home.
You will be able to use a rental car of a similar category to that contracted, in cases of immobilisation for more than 24 hours due to breakdown, accident or theft. The service is provided by top-tier brands such as ATESA, AVIS or HERTZ, and is offered for the payment of a fixed monthly premium.
After calling the Customer Service, you can have the replacement vehicle at any branch of these companies, for a period of 10, 20 or 30 days per year.

You can drive with your car through Andorra, the Member States of the European Union and other European countries or those bordering the Mediterranean in which the International Certificate of Insurance (Green Card) is valid.
