What are the risks of investing in these investment products?
"Investing in funds involves assuming a certain level of risk that will depend on the composition of each fund, market fluctuations and other factors associated with investing in securities, so there is a risk of losing all or part of the investment."
EIn general, investing in funds means undertaking the following risks:
Credit Risk
Due to the quality of the assets invested in, as well as the issuers of these assets. This is the risk that the issuer may not be able to honour its payment obligations.
Market Risk
This is the possibility that financial instruments will trade or have a value below the price paid for them. Investments may be affected by:
- Interest rate risk: changes in interest rates affect the price of fixed income assets. Sensitivity to this risk depends on the duration of the assets.
- Exchange rate risk: risk of fluctuations in the prevailing exchange rate in the case of assets in currencies other than the benchmark currency for the investment.
- Market risk for equity investments: resulting from variations in the price of equity assets.
- Risk of investing in emerging markets: political changes or economic circumstances may affect the value of investments.
- Geographical or sector concentration risk: concentrating investments in the same area or sector increases market risk.
Risks of investing in derivative financial instruments
Investing in derivatives (futures, options, etc.) may entail a higher risk due to the nature of these products.
Liquidity Risk
The risk that no counterparty can be found in the market, meanting that a product cannot be sold.
Sustainability Risk
hese risks relate to environmental, social and governmental events or conditions. The sustainability risk of investments depends, among other factors, on the type of issuer, the sector of activity and its geographical location.

Useful information
1. Financial instruments involve certain risks (market, credit, liquidity, currency, interest rate, sustainability risk etc.), and, therefore, all or some of the investment may be lost. The risks are listed in the product's legal documentation.
Before taking any investment decision, you should consult the information in the financial instrument's legal documentation (in the case of a Collective Investment Undertaking (CIU), in the Prospectus and in the Key Investor Information Document (KIID)), available both from the relevant supervisory body and from the market where the instrument may be listed for trading, if any, and on the website of the issuer or the management company. The decision to invest in a financial instrument must be taken in due consideration of all the characteristics and objectives of the financial instrument, as described in its legal documentation. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results, and if the financial instrument is denominated in currencies other than the euro, its performance may go up or down as a result of currency fluctuations.
