What is Cash Today?
It is a comprehensive service for managing your business cash, ideal for monthly cash volumes between €25,000 and €150,000. A full service, including:
- A cash management service machine for your business which allows you to pay in your daily profits securely.
- Immediate payment into your Santander account, the money paid into the machine will be available immediately.
- Real-time display of all activity: payment in notes or coins.
- Insurance for cash paid in and validated by the machine.
- A Prosegur armoured van will collect the stored cash and give you change if you need any.
- Exclusive Prosegur call centre for the resolution of any incidents and queries.
The service is provided through a rental and leasing agreement1 which includes the installation of the machine, maintenance and all the associated services of Banco Santander and Prosegur up to the arranged monthly limit.
What is the Cash Today service?
The monthly fee will be fixed for five years, and will not change because of interest or itemised price changes. For example:
If your cash management needs are different, you can enquire about tailor-made packages for different amounts.
Since it is a Renting and Leasing agreement, VAT on income is deducted depending on your tax status. Instalments may be 100% tax deductible and may be recognised as a lease expense. No report is made to the CIRBE (Bank of Spain Central Credit Register).

About Cash Management Machine Service
To arrange the Cash Today service, you need to hold an account at Banco Santander.
Prosegur will visit your premises to check whether it is technically feasible to install a machine and an alarm. There are some safety recommendations for where to locate the device: it should not be visible to the public and should be in a closed space and ideally, with restricted access. Installation involves securing and configuring the machine. The customer must also have a basic security service with an alarm.
The user records customer transactions and a receipt is generated for each transaction. Money can be withdrawn from the machine at the end of the day or shift and all transactions are recorded on the MiProsegur web platform.
The value date online payment service improves cash flow and ensures cash is available in your current account. While the money is stored in the safe, your money will be available in a current account. This includes income received during holidays and at weekends.
