Loans for self-employed persons, SMEs and companies

The financing lines designed by Santander Bank together with the European Investment Bank (EIB) are able to offer you products adapted to the real needs of your company.

We are able to offer you our experience of more than 10 years working with the EIB in designing specific products for companies and businesses. You have already invested your time in an idea. Now we invest the money in it.

Characteristics

The EIB Credit Lines are aimed at self-employed persons and companies with up to 3,000 employees.

With them you can finance up to 100% of you company’s investment project, with a maximum limit of €12.5 million per project.

They can be financed through the EIB Credit Lines:


  • The acquisition of production assets (new or second hand) other than land.
  • Investing in intangible assets such as development and planning costs, R&D costs, the acquisition of patents, etc.
  • The liquidity that the daily activity of the company needs.


The EIB Credit Lines offer conditions adapted to the needs of key sectors of the economy, flexible financing terms and a beneficial interest rate. You will have up to 3 years to justify the investment.

EIB Loans will be available until the funds are exhausted.

Sustainable financing: EIB facility for the farming sector.

Conditions

To qualify for EIB financing and loans, these are the conditions that the investment project must meet:


  • Maximum amount of financing: €12.5 million per investment project.
  • Amortisation period: from 2 years.


The following sectors and activities are excluded from this line of financing:


  • Weapons manufacturing
  • Gambling
  • Manufacture and processing or distribution of tobacco
  • Real estate development
  • Financial transactions (such as the purchase of shares or other financial products).
  • Activities with an impact on the environment.

Go to your nearest Santander branch to arrange your EIB Loan.
Operation subject to prior approval by the Bank.
